Equipment for the long way.
GUIDE / FITMENT

CHECK BEFORE FITTING.

The same model name can cover different years and versions. Begin with the exact motorcycle and the exact accessory, then use the relevant installation instructions.

1. Record the exact motorcycle.

Write down brand, full model name, model year, market and version. Record any existing racks, guards, changed handlebars or navigation brackets. KTM 390 Adventure R and X should be identified separately.

For BMW GS and GS Adventure, or different Ténéré and Tiger versions, use the exact version named in the actual fitment information.

2. Photograph the proposed mounting area.

Take a clear overall view and close views of the attachment points. Identify the real product name and the location where you intend to fit it. Include any equipment already occupying that area.

Dimensions, bolt patterns, supplied hardware and required adapters must be checked against verified product documents, not inferred from a concept image.

3. Use the actual instructions.

Before installation, check that the document matches the exact product revision and motorcycle. Follow the specified tools, sequence, fasteners, clearances and torque values from the relevant manufacturers.

Do not use a universal torque value or modify a mounting point based on this guide. If instructions or compatibility are unclear, have the setup assessed before fitting or riding.
