Equipment for the long way.
JOURNEY / WEEKEND

A WEEKEND FURTHER.

Work backwards from your overnight plan. What you carry for a hotel stop can be very different from what you need for a campsite.

Pack for the stop as well as the ride.

Group your kit into riding essentials, overnight items and things you want to reach at a short stop. Try the complete packing list before deciding how much luggage space to buy.

If a passenger will travel with you, include their seat space and access needs in your comparison.

Compare the attachment, not only the bag.

Check the real bag's attachment instructions and any required rack or support. Record what is already fitted to your motorcycle. Compare the complete setup with the motorcycle and accessory manufacturers' load and clearance instructions.

Capacity, weather protection and load limits must come from the actual product information. A concept image cannot establish them.
